How We Work: Inspection, Treatment and Follow-Up

Our pest control inspection process starts with your enquiry, followed by an on-site inspection to identify the pest, how far it has spread, its entry points and what is attracting it. We then propose a treatment plan based on Integrated Pest Management, apply targeted treatment with safety precautions, and follow up where needed. Goa clients receive service reports after visits. Our new Shamshabad branch is confirming its services area by area.

Good pest control starts with finding out what is really going on. This page explains our pest control inspection process from first enquiry to follow-up. It covers how we keep treatments safe, what records businesses receive, what we need from you, and the limits of what any treatment can do.

The process below is how our established Goa branch in Chimbel works. Our Shamshabad office in the Hyderabad region has recently opened. Its services and coverage are still being confirmed area by area, and the branch will confirm what it can help with.

How does our pest control process work at a glance?

Every job follows the same basic sequence, whatever the pest. The details change with the property and the problem.

What happens at each step?

1. Your enquiry

Tell us what you are seeing, where, and for how long. Photographs help, as do details such as the type of property and whether it is a home, a kitchen, a hotel or a warehouse. Bookings are made through our website, by email or by phone, subject to availability.

2. The on-site inspection

The inspection is the most important part of the job. Our technicians assess how widespread the infestation is, identify entry points, and look at the conditions that may be drawing pests in, such as moisture, food sources, clutter or gaps around pipes and doors.

What we look for depends on the pest. For termites, that means mud tubes, hollow-sounding or damaged wood and damp walls. For cockroaches, it means kitchens, drains, appliance backs and cabinet hinges. For bed bugs, it means mattress seams, bed frames and furniture joints, checked room by room.

3. The treatment plan

We work to an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach. That means combining inspection, sanitation and proofing advice with targeted treatment, rather than relying on blanket spraying. A plan might pair cockroach gel baiting with advice on sealing cracks, or bait stations for rodents with guidance on closing entry gaps.

Payment is as per the quotation or invoice. We accept cash, UPI transfer, card, net banking and bank transfer.

4. Preparing the property

Each treatment needs different preparation. Clearing a kitchen for gel baiting is very different from preparing rooms for bed bug treatment or making space for termite drilling along walls. Our guides explain what to do for cockroach gel treatment, bed bug treatment and termite drilling treatment.

5. Treatment

Treatment is applied where the pests live, travel and enter, using methods chosen at the planning stage. Most treatments can be completed within a few hours, though larger areas take longer. Your technician will give an estimated time frame after the inspection.

6. The service report

In Goa, we share service reports and proof of service after visits, and send clients updates on WhatsApp. This gives you a record of what was treated, which is especially useful for businesses and for anyone on a scheduled programme.

7. Follow-up and prevention

Some pests are dealt with quickly. Others, such as bed bugs or established cockroach populations, take several days or more to show significant improvement and may need follow-up visits. Your technician will explain what to expect.

Prevention is the other half of the work. Keeping areas clean, sealing entry points and keeping an eye out for early signs make a real difference. Our technicians give prevention tips suited to your property during visits.

How do we keep treatments safe?

Safety is built into how we plan and apply each treatment, not added afterwards.

  • Targeted application: IPM means treating specific places rather than spraying everywhere, with the aim of reducing the amount of product used.
  • Registered products: Our Goa branch is a licensed pest control operator with the Directorate of Agriculture, Goa, and uses CIB&RC-registered products.
  • Safety data on file: We maintain Material Safety Data Sheets for the products we use.
  • Clear aftercare advice: We tell you when children and pets can return to treated areas, usually once surfaces are dry or as advised, and when to ventilate.

After any treatment, keep treated areas ventilated as advised and wash your hands after handling items from those areas. If you use any household pest product yourself, follow its label directions. If anyone in the household feels unwell, or has a reaction to a bite or sting, please see a doctor.

What documentation do businesses receive?

Hotels, restaurants, food businesses, offices and warehouses often need a written record of pest control for their own audits. Our Goa branch provides:

  • Service reports and proof of service after each visit
  • Documentation for food businesses aligned with HACCP and FSSAI audit expectations
  • Material Safety Data Sheets maintained for products used
  • Scheduled programmes under annual maintenance contracts, with a report for each visit

For more on scheduled, documented programmes, see our commercial pest control page.

What do we need from you?

A treatment works best when we and the client work together. We ask you to:

  • Describe the problem honestly, including any earlier treatments or products you have used yourself
  • Prepare the property as instructed, such as clearing treatment areas, storing food away and securing pets
  • Have a representative present to accompany our technicians during the service
  • Follow the post-service instructions on re-entry, cleaning and ventilation
  • Act on the proofing and hygiene advice, such as fixing leaks, sealing gaps and managing waste
  • Give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel, as a late-cancellation fee may apply

What are the limits of our service?

We prefer to be clear about what pest control can and cannot do.

  • No permanent promises: No treatment can promise that pests will never return, so we do not make that claim.
  • Warranty covers the treated area only: In Goa, a limited warranty applies to the treated area for specific services, as set out in the service agreement. It varies by pest and treatment. It does not cover structural changes, new construction, or cases where post-service instructions were not followed.
  • Pests from outside: If pests come back from a neighbouring property or from outside, prevention on your side matters. Ask your technician how to reduce this risk.
  • The right method only: We recommend fumigation only where it is the appropriate method, not as a default.
  • No DIY chemical advice or medical advice: We do not give mixing instructions for home use, and health concerns should go to a doctor.

The full conditions are in our terms and conditions.

How does this work at each branch?

Our Goa branch in Chimbel follows this process across the towns and localities it serves. If you are in Goa, contact the branch with your location and the pest problem to arrange an inspection.

Our Shamshabad branch has recently opened. Tell us your location and the problem, and we'll confirm whether we can help.

Frequently asked questions

QWhy do you inspect before quoting for treatment?

Similar signs can come from different pests, and the right treatment depends on how far the problem has spread and what is attracting it. Inspecting first lets us find entry points and conditions such as moisture or food sources. We can then target treatment where it is needed instead of guessing. It also helps us give you a realistic estimate of the time the job will take.

QDo I need to be at home during the treatment?

A client representative should accompany our technicians during the service. This person can show us problem areas, open locked rooms or cupboards, and hear the aftercare instructions first-hand. For some treatments, people and pets will need to stay out of treated areas for a period afterwards. Your technician will tell you how long that is for your specific treatment.

QWhat is Integrated Pest Management?

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is an approach that combines inspection, sanitation and proofing advice with targeted treatment. Rather than relying on repeated blanket spraying, it deals with why pests are there, such as gaps, food sources or damp. Treatment is then applied where it will be most effective. The aim is to use less product while working towards more lasting improvement.

QWill the problem be gone right after the first visit?

It depends on the pest. Some pest problems improve quickly, while others, such as bed bugs or a well-established cockroach population, can take several days or more to show significant improvement. Some treatments need follow-up visits. Your technician will explain what to expect for your treatment and when to get back in touch.

QCan a restaurant or hotel get records for an FSSAI or HACCP audit?

Our Goa branch provides service reports after each visit, along with documentation for food businesses aligned with HACCP and FSSAI audit expectations. We also maintain Material Safety Data Sheets for the products we use. Ask about your audit requirements when you first contact us, so the records match what your auditor expects.

QWhat if pests come back from a neighbour's flat?

In Goa, the warranty for specific services covers the treated area as set out in your service agreement. If pests re-enter from a neighbouring home or from outside, prevention on your side becomes important. This includes sealing gaps, managing waste and fixing leaks. Ask your technician for prevention advice that fits your property.

QDoes the Shamshabad branch follow the same process?

The process on this page describes how our established Goa operation works. Because the Shamshabad branch has recently opened, its services and the localities it covers are still being confirmed. Share your location and the pest problem with the branch, and the team will confirm whether and how they can help.
