About Efficacy Pest Control: A Pest Management Company Founded in Goa

Efficacy Pest Control is a pest management company founded and established in Goa. This page explains who we are, how we approach pest control, the credentials behind our Goa operation, and what each of our two offices can currently offer. If you are deciding whether to invite us into your home or business, these are the things we would want to know too.

Who we are

We started in Goa with one aim: to deal with pests precisely, without compromising the safety of the people who live and work in a building. That still shapes how we work, from a single flat to hotel kitchens and warehouses.

Our Goa branch in Chimbel looks after homes and businesses across Panaji (Panjim), Porvorim, Mapusa, Calangute, Candolim, Baga, Ponda, Margao and Vasco da Gama. Our clients include homeowners, housing societies, hotels, restaurants, offices, shops and warehouses.

In 2026 we opened a second office in Shamshabad, Rangareddy district, to serve the Hyderabad region. That branch is new. We are confirming which services and localities it can cover area by area, and it brings the working practices developed in Goa.

How do we approach pest control?

We follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM). In practice, we try to understand why pests are present before deciding how to treat them. Treatment works better and lasts longer when the conditions that attract pests are also addressed.

1. Inspection. A technician looks at the extent of the problem, identifies the pest, finds likely entry points and notes anything that may be attracting it, such as food residue, moisture, clutter or gaps around pipes.
2. Sanitation and proofing advice. We explain what the household or site team can change. Examples include storing food in sealed containers, fixing leaks, sealing gaps and managing waste.
3. Targeted treatment. The method is matched to the pest and the space. Cockroaches in a kitchen, for example, are usually better handled with gel baiting and crack-and-crevice treatment than with broad spraying.
4. Records and follow-up. In Goa we share service reports after visits and send updates to clients on WhatsApp, so there is a clear record of what was done and where.

How does technology support our inspections?

Alongside the inspection itself, we use PestVision AI, a digital platform we built for our own work. During a visit, the technician records photos and videos. PestVision helps analyse them for pests, for signs of pests such as droppings or gnaw marks, and for conditions such as gaps, moisture or food residue. For video, the review is repeated several times, and only sightings that the repeated checks agree on are counted; anything uncertain is flagged for a person to check. The findings feed a risk score, a corrective-action plan and the inspection report.

Why does local climate shape our work?

Goa has a very heavy south-west monsoon and a humid coastal climate for much of the year. Damp soil and timber can encourage termite and wood borer activity. Standing water after rain gives mosquitoes places to breed. Warm, moist kitchens and drains suit cockroaches and flies. Because of this, our Goa programmes are planned around the seasons rather than treated as one-off events.

Hyderabad, on the Deccan plateau, has a different pattern: a hot, dry summer, a monsoon and a mild winter. We will not assume that what suits a coastal Goan building suits a property near Shamshabad. Our Hyderabad-region team will apply the same inspection-first method and adjust to local conditions.

Credentials, safety and recognition

These credentials relate to our established Goa operation:

• Licensed pest control operator with the Directorate of Agriculture, Goa, using products registered with the CIB&RC (Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee).
• Material Safety Data Sheets are kept for the products we use, so handling, storage and safety information is on hand.
• Indian Eminence Award (2026 – Goa), a Certificate of Excellence received by our director, Hasan Raza, on behalf of the company.

Safety on site is a shared effort. Our technicians apply treatments according to label directions. We ask that children and pets are kept away from treated areas until surfaces are dry or for as long as advised, that rooms are ventilated, and that everyone washes their hands after contact with treated areas.

Before a visit, clients prepare the property as instructed. A client representative also stays with our technicians during the service, so questions can be answered on the spot.

Who do we work with?

Homes and housing societies

For flats, independent houses, villas and housing societies, we usually start with the problem the resident can see, such as cockroaches, ants, bed bugs or termites. We then check the places where pests tend to hide or enter. Societies often benefit from treating common areas such as drains, shafts and refuse points alongside individual flats.

Hotels, restaurants and food businesses

Food businesses in India work within FSSAI Schedule 4 hygiene requirements, and many also follow HACCP. In Goa, we provide documentation aligned with HACCP and FSSAI audit expectations.

Offices, shops and warehouses

What can you expect when you book with us?

• Bookings are made through our website, by email or by phone, subject to availability.
• Payment is as per the quotation or invoice. Cash, UPI, card, net banking and bank transfer are accepted.
• Please give at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel. A late-cancellation fee may apply.
• For specific services, a limited warranty applies to the treated area, as set out in your service agreement. It varies by pest and treatment. It does not cover structural changes, new construction, or cases where post-service instructions were not followed.
